Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

I am an Airman in the Air Force. I came back to my hometown to visit my parents and I went to my old favorite chipotle. They used to offer a military discount before and so I had asked if they still did it. New management does not offer it anymore. This happens alot and it is not a big deal. I had no real issue with paying the 30cents i might have saved however the employee paid for my lunch and asked to shake my hand and thank me for my service. It was an amazing gesture and I truly appreciate how great chipotle has always been. It still is my favorite resteraunt. You have made me day! Thank you for your support and amazing customer service.

Worst chipotle I've ever been to. I've been to chipotle in denver, Colorado springs, Los angeles, you name it, all amazing with the exception of this cancerous tumor threatening all that is holy. I was greeted by a man who talked with such urban slang I needed a rosette stone to explain quesarrito to him. Then assisted by a woman who clearly doesn't practice personal hygiene and had a bitter attitude. Made me such a small burrito I might as well have went to taco bell. No guacamole at all. It gets two stars because the burrito still tasted like a slice of heaven, just a very tiny slice of heaven, comparitively. Get it together.

The concept is great and you can actually get some descent options here. The usual burrito will set you back 1000+ calories but there are so big you can share it with someone. Seating can fill up at lunch time but there is also outside seating.

Chipotle used to be one of my favorite places to go. The food has always been great and it continues to be great. But I've still been going less and less. I think the service has dropped off substantially over the past few months. I'm not saying it's on the level of some fast food places whose names start with M or B...but it's still kinda bad. I was ordering my food today and all I could think about was how cranky one of the girls on the line was and how much she hated her life. But I guess you get what you pay for, right?

Not enough options for me. They have rice, salsa, meat and cheese and u can have it any way u want! As long as it's in a bowl or a burrito or a taco. Guacamole for an extra charge. The food was fine, don't see what all the fuss is about.

The food and service are good but the. Place is a little dirty. The tables weren't wiped down and the bathrooms were dirty. Starting to look like a McDonalds'

On vacation with 2 16 year olds who wanted Chipotle for lunch. We enter the restaurant and the line was really long( I would have never stayed if I was alone). I groaned as I have no patience standing in line. The staff was very efficient. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they moved customers through. A wonderful experience. Kudos to the staff!!

I have been disappointed the last three times I have been there. On two separate occasions they were out of guacamole! While I understand that can happen, I also appreciate a heads up, perhaps a note on the door like the "no carnitas" sign that has been posted for months. Tonight they were out of tortillas!! What?! Are you kidding me?! It's a burrito place. I usually get a bowl but others in my family love the burrito. Oh and no black beans either. There was no manager to discuss this with either. How can you not have a manager? I spoke with the floor manager who was very pleasant but has absolutely no control over anything. It is too bad that such a great idea and good food is not executed well.

This team always has to hustle. Good job guys and gals! I have never had a bad experience. . We go 3x a week. Some of the employees could be a little nicer..However they have to deal with the lovely citizens and tourists of daytona.. 5 stars.

Somehow this is the only Chipotle location that always manages to mess up my order. I always get the same thing and have a favorite order saved in the iPhone app and 1 of 3 things always happens when I got to pick up my food. 1. The most common: They begin making my order after I ask for my order at the register. It infuriates me because the point of placing an order with a particular pick up time is to PICK IT UP AT THAT TIME not when I come in and say my name and they sheepishly smile and say that they will make it right then. 2. Oh wait there is no number two because I have literally never come in to the store after placing an order for pick up and had it actually be ready for me when I arrive. 3. Please see #2. The only get two stars because I am obsessed with Chipotle and so thankful that my new office is closer to the Port Orange location which is FANTASTIC and not only has my order ready but also has my drink cup with lid and straw PLUS silverware.

Never been to a Chipotle that was bad. Stick with the burrito, barbacoa, fajita vegetables, black beans, white rice, mild and medium salsa, corn, cheese and lettuce...oh, and chips and guac of course. Great place to eat. Excellent decor as well. Always thought the music in Chipotles is weird as shit, though.

One of my favorite places to eat. I go there for their bowls, usually the barbacoa, but I've tried all of them. I also have had the burritos. I prefer the bowls though. Pay the extra money for the guacamole, it's really fresh, really good and makes a good thing even better. This is my go to place if I'm at a loss for "what's for lunch?" It's always a great choice.

Standard Chipotle. Brisk business, so ingredients are constantly moving and have no time to sit around and get stale. Cordial employees who work hard. There's a patio. Parking can get busy.
(3)Edward J.
The portions are super lame for the tacos. I'm not paying $8 for a teaspoon of chicken and a tortilla. On top of that chips cost extra. Is this Mexican food from a communist organization or what?
(2)John N.
This Chipotle is the fastest I've ever experienced. The employees work quickly to prepare your meal without sacrificing the quality of the food. They really do not disappoint here, and I have been to disappointing locations.

I went to college in Daytona Beach, didn't experience Chipotle until my sophomore year & boy, was I missing out: this place is awesome! The line is always out the door, but it moves at a reasonable pace & keeps the food fresh. Food's great, and outdoor seating is available, plus they're opened considerably late (especially for Daytona Beach). Because they're so popular, sometimes seating is limited. The trick (if you're not alone) is to grab a seat, while your party waits in line, have them order for you and you're all good! The bathrooms are clean, only one stall per gender, and staff frequently goes around to wipe the tables down. Parking close to the entrance is limited, but Chipotle is located in the center of a hugee parking lot so just park out back and walk. (:

When I lived in the Daytona Beach area I literally ate at this Chipotle at least three times a week. Not that it's that amazing - it's Chipotle. But for Volusia County, it's the best restaurant in town! Love that they serve beer here. Not that I ever drank any, of course.

I really was not blown away by the food nor was my husband. I wouldn't say that the food is "bland" but all of the meats taste the same - I had the steak burrito bowl and my husband had the chicken tacos. The meat was so spicy that we both did not finish our meals - we both like spicy food but the overabundance of it was too much. Overall, we won't return.

Good food as always, but this particular chipotle restaurant tends to give you 2 to 3 oz of chips instead of 4 oz when you order the bag of chips. Last I heard was they were trying to correct it but haven't seen much difference.

Chipotle Grill makes me happy! Love the food and the restaurant is always clean. The line might be a bit long but the employees get you through in a jiff. I always do a little happy dance when it's time to get some Chipotle!

Chipotle is Chipotle, nothing special. The food is good at this location and the service was above the norm. I would recommend for those who want a quick, cheap lunch.

2nd Time visiting this location and so far its been great . I was able to get in and get dinner with a smile and at a reasonable price .
(3)Trevor B.
I love going to this place. Food is great and the service is fast. Also, they cater to all kinds of dietary restrictions. Gluten free menus are hard to come by and these people are willing to change their gloves at each station to avoid gluten contamination. Fantastic place!

they're good. make sure to try to preorder with the chipotle app on the iphone if youre going for lunch and time is limited

Customers beware!!! This food is not what it seems I went to this place only a few days ago for my second time and I got sick and had a very high fever which was 102 and had to go to the hospital and why you say this happened because I got food poisoning. Thats Right FOOD POISONING!!! so the next time you go there BEWARE OF THE FOOD!!! also the food is Nothing special, it doesn't taste mexican it taste plain with a tinge of spiciness, it looks like a factory inside which is the wrong approach for a mexican restaurant everything should not look silver it should red with green with exuberant colors on the walls that are stimulating not looking like you are in a factory and the place doesn't even have any pictures that depict of anything mexican plus if you are running a mexican place you should at least have some type of hispanic people working there not Americans, its only popular because you can get a gigantic burrito for $7 that's all. I wish that i can give them a 0/5!!! This place is a joke and i have seen better, PLUS it also got me sick so what do you think of the place now? All I have to say now is that I WILL NEVER NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN!!!!!
